Thank you for joining us! When a bunch of like minded people get together, it’s amazing what can be pulled together. Our 2026 event was an unparalleled success.
We are already working on 2027 (and possible interim events) and promise to make sure things come together with plenty of advanced notice! Any and all ideas and feedback very appreciated.
Our Story
It all began with Bookcase Books, our pop-up bookshop.
Over the years, we've discovered that our favorite part isn't just selling books. It's helping readers find their next favorite one. Bestselling author Jo Piazza has a bit of a superpower for putting the right book into the right person's hands, and there's nothing we love more than watching someone walk away excited about what they're going to read next.
We also know that readers are looking for more than recommendations. They want to discover books out in the wild, meet the authors behind them, and be part of a community that celebrates reading together.
That's why we created the Catskills Book Festival. It's a chance to bring bestselling and emerging authors together with passionate readers for a day of unforgettable conversations, new discoveries, food, family, and fun in one of our favorite places.
We can't wait to welcome you to the Catskills, introduce you to incredible writers, and help you find your next favorite book.
